We have been taught since childhood to defer to the higher authority. Depending on who or what that is it could be a religious figure, god (with interpreted literature of course) or most likely a person. From the beginning parents are the initial authority for us and we learn everything from them until we attend a school of some kind. It is therefore no coincidence that administration of public education will often be slanted towards certain agendas rather than objective in nature. In schools we are thoroughly indoctrinated into to thinking that teachers are the higher authority because when we honour them and repeat their information and viewpoints we are rewarded.
This is reinforced from early childhood until university and colleges which of course are funded generously from donors with strings attached as far as expectation of the direction of the institution and its compliance with directives. They are not independent no matter what the public is lead to believe. This is then further reinforced when we are rewarded with a career depending on our qualification which we obtained by honouring the authorities that taught us in our degree/qualification years. We do not question them if we want to further our career upon graduation. We certainly do not cross them even if we do question their information. This is entrenched in professional careers such as medicine and law where this submission is critical for success.
These governing authorities are influenced in turn by political agendas. So by the time we have a career we are under the influence of the authority that educated us and provided us a way in which to earn a living or income. It is therefore reasonable that we would be obedient to the direction that these authorities provide us whether directly or indirectly. To trust government or our academic superiors in any specific field is therefore our conditioning. Yes we are conditioned to think and behave in certain manners no matter what opinion we have to the contrary.
Special note: In some cases conditioning is very extreme especially certain families where they take the authoritative role from the academia or government and apply it to their offspring from birth. These so called elite families break the general rule of society that they allegedly control with their own specific indoctrination using these sometimes trauma based controlling mechanisms but that is a whole other subject that the internet is full of such stories and conspiracies.
I have attempted to give a basic overview of how our thinking is influenced from birth and how we more often than not submit to certain authority depending upon culture and indoctrination. It is all very specifically designed and reinforced by the mass media and our peers. Anyone who questions the general commentary of life can be accommodated in alternative streams but these will also submit themselves to their more knowledgeable superiors who might have founded their selected life philosophy whatever it is. It really is irrelevant because in the end who are we submitted to? Who influences our choices? It is one person? An organisation, government or organisations and persons submitted to governments? Or individuals submitted to organisations with authority figures within those definitions.
It is very difficult for us to accept that we could be so easily lead in our thinking from birth. We often delude ourselves in to thinking our thoughts are unique but this is simply not the case. Most people will never come to this conclusion. They will have no idea that they are operated by remote control from various authorities their entire life. It is in affect a zero touch approach where no direct intervention is required by authorities because of our life long conditioning. In a nutshell it is how many societies have been controlled and directed from the foundation of so called civilised society. Of course there are more flavours to this as required which range from political to religious. However in the end is matters little. We submit ourselves to these systems by default. Of course as alluded to we can change the flavour or brand of control but the mechanism is still the same in the final analysis
So what is the alternative to control? I have studied many of the non-conventional ways of thinking and the origin of rights, laws, popular religions, mystery religions, non-establishment science and they offer no solution to the control/indoctrination and generally suggest their “alternative” to mainstream indoctrination. You exchange one form of thinking for another. Yes there is much useful information in these streams of study but they offer no redemption even as they speak of the matrix, freedom and red pills. There is only one source of Truth and that comes from the pure testimony of God found in the 1611 text. If you want substantiation of this statement you will find plenty on this site and resources it points to.
In conclusion this has been a few basic thoughts I wrote down in order to explain my own indoctrination and that of others I interact with in the world and to point us to the Truth being found in Jesus Christ and him alone. However the qualification of this statement must be under the true authority of Gods purified word found in the 1611 text. Other subsequent texts corrupt, change and question this authority as to bring doubt to us just as Genesis chapter 3 explains. This is a two pronged fundamental strategy at its heart.
- Create doubt – Is what God said actually what he means?
- Appeal to pride – You do not need that ancient bible as we have newer more refined versions so so on and so forth. (The truth in inside you and other dribble)
In the end we will face the final authority in the God of heaven and earth and the Alpha and Omega of Revelation. There is no other Way, Truth and Life.
1 In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darknesse, and the darknesse comprehended it not.
John 1
For the word of God is quicke and powerfull, and sharper then any two edged sword, pearcing euen to the diuiding asunder of soule and spirit, and of the ioynts and marrowe, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked, and opened vnto the eyes of him with whome wee haue to doe.
Hebrews 4:12
But he giueth more grace, wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proude, but giueth grace vnto the humble.
7 Submit your selues therefore to God: resist the deuill, and hee will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and hee will draw nigh to you: cleanse your hands ye sinners, and purifie your hearts yee double minded.
James 4:6-8
I highly recommend a book called Solomon’s Sorrow by Reginald Block that gets down the nitty-gritty of these matters as this post was just a few thoughts and not meant to be exhaustive but point us back to the correct text which really is the root of all of this. So many of us have been led astray because we trust third party points of view who use corrupted texts and their own indoctrinated brand of thinking. Alternatively we place our complete trust in Pastors and leaders who have been trained by this third party brand of thinking that they never question as their position within the hierarchy will depend upon this as I mentioned early on. I have even heard of Pastors who know their teaching is questionable but continue with it for this very reason. This is no different than the Roman Catholic system or any other cult and indeed why so many of the issues in the world have arisen over the past two hundred years which just happens to coincide with the rise and popularity of corrupted texts which includes the KJV (nickname for the 1769 “update”)
