Pride
Have you ever heard the words?
- I am proud of you
- I am so proud of my team
- I am proud of my work
- I feel such pride today/tonight!

Is this good or bad? Let’s look at what God says. There is plenty of God’s view of pride starting in His Word. What is the origin of our pride? (Hint: Genesis 3) Before we answer that question fully let us visit a famous verse to answer the who or what.
For thou hast said in thine heart; I wil ascend into heauen, I wil exalt my throne aboue the starres of God: I wil sit also vpon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the North. 14I wil ascend aboue the heights of the cloudes, I wil bee like the most High. Isaiah 14:12

Hee maketh a path to shine after him; one would thinke the deepe to bee hoarie. 33Upon earth there is not his like: who is made without feare. 34He beholdeth all high things: he is a king ouer all the children of pride. Job 41:34
